BPC-157 and TB-500: why I stopped the two I trusted most
They were my first two. They carried me through a hernia and a laser recovery. Then I stopped, because nothing I could measure said keep going.
Goal: Gut, joint and tissue healing while training hard.
The decision
I train a lot, so I am always healing something. That is why I did not treat these as a two-week injury fix. I cycled BPC-157 six weeks on and four off, and paired it with TB-500.
In June I cut BPC-157 from 1.5 mg to 500 mcg a day. The famous dose is back-calculated off rats, and I did not see a reason to run the high end.
What happened
They got me through a hernia and through the CO2 laser healing. I believe they helped. I also know I was resting, eating well and running other things, so I cannot prove it.
BPC-157 ended on July 29, when the vial ran out. TB-500 wound down after that and I stopped it on August 24. I had no recorded outcome showing a benefit was lost after stopping.
