Questions

Ask us anything.

Honest answers, with sources. If it's a good question, we'll research it and publish the answer here. That's how this page grows.

This opens an email straight to me. I read every one and answer the good ones here, with sources.

The ones we get asked most

Do peptides actually work?

Depends on the peptide. And the honest answer for most of them is "maybe, but the human evidence is thin." That's exactly why we grade every compound on four lenses instead of one. See the graded index.

Am I under-dosing?

Quite possibly. The community tends to under-dose more than it over-doses, and most "standard" schedules trace back to animal studies and forum convention, not human dose-finding trials. The fix isn't to guess harder. It's to pick an objective metric and actually measure.

Can I mix BPC-157 and TB-500 in the same vial?

We'd skip it. They're dosed in completely different magnitudes (micrograms vs milligrams) and on different frequencies, so one draw can't deliver a correct dose of both. And you lose the ability to titrate each one. The combination has no human evidence either. See BPC-157.

Should I take peptides with or without food?

For the growth-hormone peptides (tesamorelin, ipamorelin) the answer is fasted and usually at night, because glucose and insulin blunt GH release. For most others, timing relative to food isn't established. Anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.

How do I know my vial is legit?

Demand a recent third-party Certificate of Analysis for the exact batch. HPLC purity, mass-spec identity, and an endotoxin result. From an independent lab like Janoshik or Finnrick, never the vendor's own. The full checklist is on verification.

How should I store and reconstitute?

Refrigerate the reconstituted vial, swirl rather than shake, keep it out of heat and light, and replace the bacteriostatic water about every 28 days. The freeze-dried powder is far more stable than the mixed solution. And the BAC water is a bigger contamination risk than the peptide itself.

Can I stack peptides with TRT or GLP-1s?

You can, but it makes it nearly impossible to know what the peptide is doing. Testosterone and GLP-1s produce large, proven changes that swamp a peptide's signal. If you want to actually evaluate a peptide, isolate it: one variable at a time.

Is the effect just placebo?

Often partly. Especially for subjective wins like energy and "recovery feel." We rate placebo risk on every profile, and you can't introspect your way past it. More on is it placebo?.

Why do you weight anecdotal evidence at all?

Because for most of these compounds the trials simply don't exist. And pretending the only valid evidence is an RCT would make this site useless. So we grade the real-world signal transparently, labeled as anecdote, weighted up because the science is thin. Never as proof.

How often is this updated?

Daily, weekly, and monthly depending on the source. And we show the whole process on what we track.
